The existence of an old Microsoft User Data folder under ~/Documents causes the Office installation wizard to ask you to use “existing information” instead of prompting you for new information (name, company name). (The alternative is to re-enable these fonts and properly install them back to the Fonts folder, provided you do not plan on ever re-installing Microsoft Office with Fonts.)— Before re-installing Microsoft Office, or before installing Microsoft Office on a BRAND NEW MAC COMPUTER, be sure to remove or delete the folder ~/Documents/MICROSOFT USER DATA so that the Office installation wizard does not recognize, and extract personalization information, from this archive.
